Coaching Philosophy: As a coach I will try to develop players’ mental and physical skills by encouraging communication, effort and a positive attitude. I will work on basic form skills and make sure each player is accountable and able to play multiple positions.
Best Volleyball Moment: One of my greatest earlier volleyball moments was when my team won the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Championship. Our team lost every 1st set during the quarter, semi, and final championship games. We never gave up and came back to win the championship. Another memorable moment was when we won the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship during my junior and senior years at Archbishop Carroll High School.(Brian McCann was our coach). We played our rival and won in a very exciting 5 sets. I received All-Catholic honors and PA All-State during my high school years in volleyball.
My Life in Sports: During my childhood, I always played many sports, such as soccer, basketball, softball and cheerleading. I started playing volleyball in 5th grade and started with club volleyball with the 12s. I have been very fortunate to play club volleyball for 7 years and to have the opportunity to travel all over and play against some very good competition. I enjoy playing in beach volleyball and grass tournaments over the summer. I currently play volleyball for Cabrini University as the starting Libero.
When I’m Not Coaching Volleyball… I am a sophomore student at Cabrini University majoring in Early Childhood Education/Special Ed and play for the volleyball team. I love to hang out with my friends and watch Netflix on my down time.
