Coaching Experience: I’ve coached at the club, high school and college levels. After college graduation, I was lucky to go right into Women’s NCAA DII coaching and became the first full-time Head Coach at West Chester University. I then went on to NCAA DI coaching to be the women’s Assistant Coach at Boise State University for a season before landing the Drexel University Head Coaching position. I also held assistant coaching positions at the University of Pennsylvania and LaSalle University. I’ve coached at Club Lehigh Power Boys since 2015 and prior to that I was a Chicago Jrs and Quaker City Girls’ Club Coach . I am the girls and boys assistant coach at Haverford H.S. (2017-2019)
Coaching Philosophy: I coach to share my love of volleyball. I’m a teacher and student of the game. I consider myself a technical coach, but there’s more than physical aspects to the game, A.C.E. (Attitude, Communication, and Effort) are my guiding principles for success.
Best Volleyball Moment: Winning our college conference championship and advancing to the post-season tournament.
My Life in Sports: I have been playing volleyball since I was 12 and still play today. I took a break from coaching volleyball when I had my kids, but promised myself that I would coach again when I could coach my kids. I have had the joy of coaching both of them in club and school volleyball.
When I’m Not Coaching Volleyball… I’m spending time with my husband and 2 kids, who all play volleyball!
