Coaching Experience: I joined East Coast Power Volleyball in its inaugural year 2014-15 season! Prior to joining ECP, I coached for Philadelphia Volleyball Academy (2009-2014) I co-head coached the Drexel University Women’s Club team in the 2017-18 season with my sister Lindsey. I took a short break from volleyball to focus on family and work, and I’m thrilled to be back.

Coaching Philosophy:  To empower, encourage and motivate towards a common goal focusing on the importance of every detail of the team. I try to train my teams to compete based on the top block of Coach Wooden’s Pyramid of Success. “Competitive Greatness” is at the top of the pyramid, and it’s defined as “Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge.” This philosophy was first emphasized by my college coach.

Best Volleyball Moment: Playing for Eastern University and winning the NCAA Div. III Regional Final. My  team  went on to compete in the Final Four in the 2011 collegiate volleyball season my senior year.

My Life in Sports: Grew up around sports and with parents as my coaches. I was exposed to almost every sport, and prior to focusing solely on volleyball in my Junior year of high school, I was a three-sport athlete playing volleyball, swimming and playing soccer. Following high school I played collegiate volleyball for Eastern University. Not only are we huge sports fans in our family and watch a lot of sports in our household, I now have the absolute best job ever where I am surrounded by sports every day!

When I’m Not Coaching Volleyball: I’m … spending time with my husband, 2 sons, our lab retriever and our extended family.
