Head Coach Job Description
Position: Head Coach – Boys Volleyball Program
Description: Our growing and improving boys volleyball program is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Coach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in volleyball coaching, a passion for developing young athletes, and a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.
- Mentor and motivate athletes to reach their full potential.
- Oversee team selection and player development.
- Coordinate with assistant coaches to ensure consistent training.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club management.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or club level (recommended)
- Played high school, college, club volleyball (recommended)
- Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques and strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for practices and games.
