Coaching Experience: Coached high school and club for 15 years, coached college for 8. Started a high school program, club program and ncaa D2 program from scratch.
Best Volleyball Moment: I was introduced to Eric Sato (1988 VB gold medalist) at an AVCA convention. He says ” hey, I know you”. My response was…I’m sure you don’t. He said, ” you were the guy who hit that backwards roll shot during the all coaches sand tourney”. Moral of the story…you never know who is watching, always play your best!
My Life in Sports: Playing experience: 35 years. Played all positions in college. Won two EPCC Championships. Ranked Pro in doubles for 15 years.
Favorite subject in school: Psychology. I taught high school and college Psych classes. I love learning how the mind works and why people behave in certain ways.
