Coaching Experience: I started coaching my freshman year of college at East Coast Power during the 2018-2019 season.
Coaching Philosophy: I’m really big on effort, and I truly believe that any player can progress to great lengths if they are dedicated enough and put the work in. I also believe that as coaches we have the responsibility to coach up young players not only on how to grow in the sport, but how to grow as individual people. As a coach who is still playing competitively, I like to get on the court and play with my team to challenge them to reach their full potential.
Best Volleyball Moment: One of my favorite volleyball moments team-wise was my senior year of high school volleyball at Abington when we hosted PW and won. We went on to be conference co-champions, which is something that had never been accomplished in Abington’s history. As an individual player, my favorite moment was finding out that I had been named Rookie of the Year for the Atlantic East Conference my freshman year.
My Life in Sports: I have been playing sports for my entire life, but I fell in love with volleyball my freshman year of high school. That is when I had an “Aha!” moment like I could take this seriously. I started playing in seventh grade just for fun and to get out of gym class, but it soon became the sport I love today. I had a stellar high school career at Abington, earning accolades that I had only dreamed of accomplishing and finishing with a nearly perfect senior season. I played four years of club volleyball at East Coast Power, making friends that I am still very close to today, and got recruited to play D3 collegiate volleyball at Cabrini University. Looking back at it, it’s been a whirlwind and a dream.
When I am not coaching volleyball… I am playing volleyball at Cabrini University and earning my Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Political Science.
