Coaching Philosophy:

  • The Only Thing That Matters Is What We Do Right Now
  •  Be The Best Version Of Yourself Today
  • Have Passion, A Great Attitude, A Single-Minded Focus, Relentless Energy & Always Finish The Fight
  • Make EVERY rep count – Every rep is YOUR rep
  • NEVER miss an opportunity to establish your identity

Best Volleyball Moment: My best volleyball moment would probably be winning my first tournament as a coach.  Watching the hard work my players put in finally pay off was a really rewarding moment.

My Life in Sports: I grew up playing a lot of sports.  As a kid, I played baseball, football, basketball, and golf but didn’t pick up volleyball until my freshman year of high school.  I was on the golf and volleyball teams in high school. In college, I played at Shippensburg University as a DS and Libero.

When I’m Not Coaching Volleyball: When I am not in the gym for volleyball, I am usually with my family and friends.  I am recently married and have two pups at home.

Favorite subject in school: History

Favorite Book: Make Your Bed by Admiral William McRaven (U.S. Navy)

Favorite Movie: Top Gun or Saving Private Ryan

Favorite Quote: “A coach will impact more young people in a year than the average person will in a lifetime.”

Person I’d Like to Have Dinner With: George W. Bush

Something You Probably Don’t Know About Me: I am studying to get my pilot’s license.  It’s been a longer process than expected because of COVID-19 but it’s always been a dream of mine.
