Coaching Experience: Born and raised in Puerto Rico. Started playing volleyball at 17 years old in Pitirres Volleyball Club in Puerto Rico. Played 4 years in college volleyball with Universidad Del Este in which we had 3 championship and 2nd place in the tournament LAI. During my last two year in Puerto Rico, I played professional volleyball with the Capitanes de Arecibo and then with Mets de Guaynabo. I now coach for both EC Power Girls and Club Lehigh Power Boys.
Coaching Philosophy: Hard work and discipline will be the difference
Best Volleyball Moment: My first year of professional playing with Capitanes, had the opportunity to play in the semifinals and defeat the opponent in 3 sets.
My Life in Sports: Started playing baseball until 12 years old and then switched to basketball until 17 years. I started playing volleyball the same year in high school and participated in the Dominica Republic Jr. National Team. I won a scholarship for playing 4 years at college and played 2 years professionally
When I’m Not Coaching Volleyball… I spend most of my time with my family or training for future events.
